Your handle, it can be whatever you choose, we ask for your email after you register for account recovery purposes.

Below are the ways one.id can figure out who you are, like when you log in.

They are sorted by convenience with highest at the top to least at the bottom.

one.id Identify

one.id Identify will free you from having to carry any device or remember anything to log in, all whilst having superior security. Once you've enrolled your biometrics, you can go anywhere there is a one.id Identify terminal and use it to interact with the world without having anything on you (e.g. buying a coffee at Starbucks with your biometrics).

Why can't I see this option?

This is option is mainly targeted at businesses who would use a one.id Identify terminal so you can go about your day to day life and use all the services you love without having anything on you, not even your phone.

Keep an eye out for a terminal near you in the near future.

PassKey

Passkeys make logging in easy and secure without using passwords. They work like Touch ID, Face ID, or Windows Hello by using a special, encrypted code stored on your device.

When you log in, your device uses this secure code to verify it's you. It's quick, convenient, and much safer than traditional passwords.

Just remember, you need your device to use Passkeys. If you get a new device, you’ll need to set them up again.

Enjoy a smoother and more secure login experience with Passkeys.

Recovery Password

As one.id champions security and convenience, the traditional username and password plays a backseat role, and should only be used when other options aren't available.
